What Credit Limited is registered in England and Wales, Company no. 7088857, Registered Office 76 Glebe Lane, Barming, Maidstone, Kent ME16 9BD.

Who regulates us?

What Credit Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, Interim Permission no 633056.

Our permitted business activity is Credit Brokering.

Our Services

What Credit Limited provide Hire Purchase schemes, Conditional Sale agreements & Personal Loans options, regulated and non-regulated.

What Credit Limited do not offer our own loan facilities. What Credit Limited use a panel of lenders to find appropriate finance solutions for their customers’ needs.

Our fees and charges

1. What Credit Limited charge no fees for their services.
2. Payments will be made by monthly direct debit in accordance with the chosen lender.
3. What Credit Limited may receive a fee from the lender.

There may be additional fees or charges that you should be aware of:

A late payment fee or where the lender is required to contact you to request payment of arrears.

Please note, we do not apply an additional charge to cancel any additional policies within the 14 day cooling off period.

The lenders full charges and terms will be supplied in your documents should you decide to proceed.

Why might this service be unsuitable for you?

If you are under 18 years old.
If you are unemployed.
If you are not a UK resident.

Upon referral to our third party credit provider’s they will assess your financial situation. If the provider feels that this product will not suit your financial situation, they will be unable to offer you a credit facility.

When opting in to receive marketing from us you are also consenting for us to pass your information to one or more of the following 3rd party companies if we feel they can assist you in your application for finance, Concept Car Credit, U-Can, Lease car credit, BCS or CR Services. They will contact you to provide information about their products and services by mail, phone, email or SMS.

The consequences of late payment

Before you enter into any financial agreement with a lender, please ensure that you can afford the payments for the full term of the agreement.

If you do not keep up the agreed repayments on your credit arrangement, you may have legal action taken against you and your credit score may be affected.

Cancellation

Your rights.

You have the right to cancel a credit agreement within 14 days of signing. After this point, your rights may be affected. You the customer would need to settle the dealer direct any balance owed.

Changes to your circumstances

You must take reasonable care to ensure that all information you, or anyone acting on your behalf, give us verbally and/or in writing when arranging a credit agreement is true and accurate as failure to provide accurate information could result in a your agreement being void.

You must inform the lender if there are any changes to your personal financial situation which might mean that your payments may be late or that you are unable to pay. If you are in doubt about what you need to tell the lender, please contact them.


What to do if you have a complaint

If you can't settle your complaint with us, you may be entitled to refer it to the Financial Ombudsman Service, South Quay Plaza, 183 Marsh Wall, London, E14 9SR.

Terms and Conditions: In assessing your application, we will make enquiries about you including searching your records held by Equifax and/or Experian (or any other credit reference agency from time to time) and checking you details with CIFAS (or any other fraud prevention agency from time to time). The credit reference and fraud prevention agencies will keep records of our search. Your records with the credit reference and fraud prevention may also be searched by lenders to whom we submit your application for finance. You consent to us disclosing details of your application to such lenders and credit reference and fraud prevention agencies. Any lender with whom you complete a formal contract will disclose details to such agencies of how you conduct your agreement with them. This information may be used to help the lender and other organizations assess the financial risks of dealing with you, to help prevent or detect fraud or other crimes and recover debts, and for statistical analysis about credit and about fraud. If you give us false or inaccurate information and ether we or any lender to whom your application is submitted suspect fraud, we and/or they will record this.

On the basis that your information is kept confidential we may at any time give your information to service providers and agents, other lenders or brokers who may be able to lend to you if we decline your application and to anyone who has a legal right to require disclosure of your information.

If you request Payment Protection Insurance information about you it will be passed to the Insurer who accepts your proposal (such Insurer will be nominated by the lender to whom your application is submitted) in order for them to be able to arrange and administer the requested plan and for the purposes of underwriting, claims handling and fraud prevention (which could include passing details to other insurers).

You have a right to ask for a copy of your information if you apply to us in writing and to ask us to delete or correct any information we may hold about you that is wrong.
